How far along? 16 weeks post partem
The Linea Nigra (the black line) is described as the dark line running from your belly button to your pubic bone that appears during pregnancy due to the increased production of melanin in your body (which can also cause dark splotches on your face...thank goodness I didn't get that! ahh vanity). All publications I have read on this wonder of pregnancy say that the linea nigra will disappear after the baby is born- to this I ask WHEN ALREADY?!!!
